Helpful Book Alert: 8 Min. Meditation; Quiet Your Mind, Quiet Your Life

Let me share with you the ground rules: I’m of course, loosely paraphrasing:

FUNDAMENTAL FACTOID: Meditation is TOTALLY not ‘nothing’. There is a lot going on under the hood! Some of the most important work you can do for yourself. Even when it feels like its not. Especially then.Car Mechanics Changing Wheel Working On Hydraulic Lift Royalty-Free Stock Photography ...

Rule # 1: Do the damn meditation exercises. Everyday. It’s EIGHT FRIGGIN MINUTES FOR CRYING OUT LOUD, you have the time. Make it a new habit.

Rule # 2: Get a timer so you don’t have to watch the clock which (womp, womp) breaks up your meditation.DJ Scott Shirley's Blog | Great Stories About Having A Great Time! | Page 6

Rule # 3: If you are making the time to do it, you are doing it right. Don’t say but ‘but I couldn’t…” and ‘I didn’t feel/notice….”. Don’t need a special place or atmosphere; doesn’t matter. If you did it for Eight minutes, and didn’t skip it, you did great!

Okay we have the rules, now what are the tips to maximize a session?
